Kishore Chhabria in talks with Interbrew
Bangalore: Mr Kishore Chhabria, who is engrossed in a battle with the UB Chairman, Mr Vijay Mallya, for control over Herbertsons, is set to enter the beer business.

He plans to bring in a foreign partner and is reportedly in talks with Interbrew, the world's third largest brewer.

Samsung targets Rs 5,000 crore turnover
Kolkata: Sansung India Electronics Ltd has targeted a turnover of Rs 5,000 crore in 2003. In 2002, the company had recorded a turnover of Rs 2,950 crore.

Of this, consumer electronics and home appliances accounted for Rs 1,710 crore, the balance being accounted for by the company's IT and telecom product offerings. In the current calendar year, sales of consumer electronics and home appliances are expected to generate a revenue of Rs 2,500 crore.
