Lukhnow: The former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh,
Mayawati, had accumulated properties worth crores of rupees
in four districts of the State, the State's Chief Secretary
Akhand Pratap Singh, said here today.

I will quit if chargesheeted
New Delhi: The Human Resource Development Minister,
Murli Manohar Joshi, today said he would resign from the
Government if he is charge-sheeted in the Babri Masjid
demolition case in which a court in Rae Bareilly is expected
to deliver an order tomorrow.

Prasad, Granules MD gets award
Hyderabad: The New Delhi-based Institute of Economic
Studies has chosen the Managing Director of Granules India
Ltd (GIL), Mr C. Krishna Prasad, for its annual Udyog
Rattan Award and Granules for Excellence Award for the
year 2003, according to a GIL release.
The
Andhra Pradesh Governor, Mr Surjeet Singh Barnala, presented
the awards at a function on Thursday, the company said.
