World Bank funds likely for infrastructure, social schemes
Dubai: World
Bank funding for key infrastructure and social development
projects in India is expected to increase significantly
in the period July 2004 to June 2005, over the $1.7 billion
in new commitments funded between July 2002 to June 2003,
according to Mr Michael Carter, World Bank, Country Director,
India.
