ISD rates on cells, fixed lines set to go up
New Delhi: Tariffs for STD and ISD calls for subscribers
of cellular and private basic telecom operators are set
to increase as the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India
has decided to impose an access deficit charge on these
service providers.

CEA
sees 8% GDP growth
New Delhi: Chief economic advisor Ashok Lahiri
expects the economy to grow by more than 7 per cent, touching
even 8 per cent, in the current financial year. Dr Lahiri
based his optimism on expectations of high agriculture
growth and its aftermath on other facets of the economy.
