October
export growth down to 5%
New Delhi: India's export growth dipped to its
lowest level in over a year at 5.07 per cent during October.
Exports during the month were valued at $4.88 billion,
compared with $4.4 billion during October 2002.
Exports
grew 8.44 per cent to $32.09 billion during April-October,
2003, from $29.59 billion in the corresponding period
last year, according to official estimates.
