Global sugar body prescribes end of SMP
Chennai: The International Sugar Organisation Has suggested to the Indian Government to end the practice of statutory minimum price for sugarcane and further de-regulate the sugar sector.
This suggestion has been put forward after the organisation deliberated on the global sugar market scenario.

Dubey's murderers will be punished, ays PM
New Delhi: The case of murder of IIT engineer Satyendra Dubey, who was involved in the national highway project, has been handed over to CBI, Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee disclosed on Tuesday, promising that criminals or vested interests would not be allowed to go scot-free.
