IBM wins 400-million euro Spanish IT deal

Business Machines said on Friday it had won a 10-year
contract worth more than 400 million euros ($493 million)
to provide information technology services to Spanish
telecommunications group Auna

Goldman
Sachs, Morgan beat profit forecast
New York: Top investment banks Goldman Sachs Group
and Morgan Stanley on Thursday said quarterly profits
rose sharply, as trading of bonds and other fixed-income
securities remained strong and equities businesses showed
signs of picking up. Both bankstopped expectations on
Wall Street.
