AirTel launches MTV Club Card
Chennai: Airtell, one of the cellular service providers in Chennai, has launched a pre-paid starter pack priced at Rs 199. Called the AirTel MTV Club Card, the pack is customised from research findings of youth usage patterns, which indicate high level of SMS usage, often five times more than other users. The card offers 300 local SMS free that can be used in the first 10 days. SMS charges beyond that will be 30 paise per message. The card offers Rs 50 worth talk time, according to an AirTel press release.

Infosys to invest Rs 300crore in Mangalore development centre
Karwar: Infosys will invest Rs 300 crore in its Mangalore centre. Delivering the presidential address at the inaugural of the Coastal Investors Meet in Karwar on Saturday, the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Infosys Technologies Ltd, Mr Nandan Nilekani, said that the Mangalore centre, which is exporting software worth Rs 400 crore, is planning to take it to Rs 2,000 crore.
