Ramesh Kumar becomes NMDC chief
Hyderabad: B Ramesh Kumar will be the new chairman and managing director of the National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC), a public sector undertaking, under the Union Ministry of Steel.

Kumar, director (technical), will assume charge on 1 January 2004. He succeeds S K Agrawal, who retired on superannuation on Wednesday. Agrawal was holding the posts of director (production) and CMD of NMDC. R N Singh, director (commercial), also retired on superannuation on Wednesday, according to a press release from NMDC.
