IHCL gets three senior-level people

Mumbai: Indian Hotels Co Ltd (IHCL) has announced three senior appointments to its core management team. Franz Zeller, having over 30 years of experience in various international hotel operations including at Hilton International, Millenium and Copthorne International, has been appointed as senior vice-president and chief operating officer (luxury hotels division).

Rajiv Kaul, earlier with the Oberoi Group, has been appointed as vice-president (Mumbai hotels), general manager of the city's Taj Palace & Tower. The third appointment was that of John Gerrard, formerly an independent hotel consultant in Malaysia designated as director (sales and marketing), luxury hotels division. Alongside, IHCL's statement on the appointments said Maneck Patel, vice-president and general manager of the Taj Palace & Tower, has been made senior vice-president (business and international consular corps relations).
