Exim Policy may be delayed
New Delhi: With the Lok Sabha elections likely to be held in April, the commerce ministry is in a dilemma over presenting the Exim policy. It is expected to take a decision shortly after exploring the feasibility of various options, which includes an early announcement of the policy, a postponement or announcement of a short-term (mini-exim) policy.

Commerce ministry officials told a newspaper that since this kind of a situation is unprecedented, there are no examples of any appropriate action to be followed. "We will have to look at all possible options and then arrive at a decision".
