Import of poultry food items banned
New Delhi: India has banned imports of any processed food items containing poultry meat or eggs from any country. Ban has also been imposed on import of live birds from countries affected by highly pathogenic avian flu.

Govt prepays Rs 1,350-crORE ODA loans to Canada
New Delhi: The Government has prepaid Rs 1,350 crore worth of Official Development Assistance loans to Canada. With this, the total amount of external loans prematurely retired by the country, taking advantage of its burgeoning forex reserves position, works out to around $4.7 billion.

ELCOT, Oracle tie up fore-governance
