Mumbai: The secondary market advisory committee of the Securities and Exchange Board of India mandated a detailed format for companies to report significant changes in their shareholding pattern, which would lead to more disclosures from companies.

UTI to acquire IL&FS schemes
Mumbai: UTI has announced that it is going to acquire the schemes of IL&FS Mutual Fund, subject to regulatory approvals.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the two yesterday, according to a joint release.

Hyderabad: Sujana Industries Ltd has informed the stock exchanges that its board of directors at the meeting held on January 27 has approved a resolution to issue equity shares by way of issue of global depository receipts for an aggregate amount not exceeding $20 million with permissible green shoe option.
