exports exceed $5 billion
New Delhi: Exports of basic chemicals, pharmaceuticals
and related items have crossed the $5 billion mark to
touch $5.36 billion during 2003-04, according to Chemicals,
Pharmaceuticals and Cosmetics Export Promotion Council.

Committee to study Into IIMs' financial requirements
New Delhi: Reacting to critisisms from Indian Institutes
of Management (IIMs) over drastic slashing of fees, the
human resource development ministry yesterday decided
to constitute a one-man committee to work out the "additional
requirement" of funds for IIMs.
