NASDAQ hosts 11th Tokyo Investor Program
The NASDAQ Stock Market Inc., is hosting its 11th Tokyo Investor Program in association with Morgan Stanley on February 24th and 25th. Craig Barrett, CEO, Intel Corporation will open the Program.

Amongst the ten companies who will present to the Japanese investment community, is Infosys Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: INFY). To participate in these company presentations via live and interactive webcast on 24th February from 8am (Tokyo), you may register at the NASDAQ Institutional Investor Center-http://investors.nasdaq.com-where the replay webcast will also be made available after 48hours.

ECBs allowed for overseas investment
Mumbai: The Reserve Bank of India has permitted eligible resident corporates to raise external commercial borrowings for overseas direct investment in joint ventures or wholly owned subsidiaries including mergers and acquisitions. The decision would help Indian corporates facilitate their overseas direct investment.

OVL bids for Shellw stake in Angola
Mumbai: ONGC's overseas arm, ONGC Videsh Ltd. is among the three companies shortlisted to buy out multinational oil major Royal Dutch Shell's 50 per cent stake in an oil field in Angola.
The company is biding for the stake in the Greater Plutonio project (also known as block 18) in the Angolan deepwaters. Bids open this month-end. The deal has the potential to add 280,000 barrels of oil per day or seven million tonnes a year to the company's 10 million tonnes annual overseas production.

OVL has set itself a target of achieving 20 million tonnes of oil and gas reserves from properties abroad by year 2020.
