McDonalds:
Goodbye to French fries
New Delhi: As part of its campaign "Eat Smart,
Be Active" launched last year, fast food chain McDonalds
has decided to phase out its super size French fries and
soft drinks. In a bid to revive sagging sales it has introduced
entre-size salads, yogurt and fruits and introduced fruit
and milk meal for children.

Indo-Thai:
FTA Group to meet after elections
New Delhi: The joint working group on Indo-Thai
Free Trade Agreement (FTA) will meet in May to resolve
differences over the methodology on framing of rules of
origin. Bangkok, a member of the ASEAN wants to follow
the ASEAN FTA model while India is keen on a model which
it follows with other trading regions.
