C.Lal is ONGC Executive Director
Hyderabad: The Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has promoted C. Lal, Asset Manager, ONGC, Rajahmundry to the post of Executive Director. The Corporation says that he shall continue to look after the ONGC's activities in Rajahmundry.

Mr. Lal joined ONGC as an Assistant Engineer (AE) in the year 1969 soon after completing his B.Sc Engg (Mechanical) from Kanpur University. After working in various capacities during the past 35 years he was appointed as the Asset Manager, Rajahmundry in May 2001.

Former HSBC CEO joins Wockhardt
Mumbai: The former chief executive of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC), Aman Mehta, has joined Wockhardt Ltd as a director on its board. In his 36-year-long career Mehta has been part of the HSBC businesses in America, Europe, West Asia, Africa and the Asia Pacific. An graduate in economics from Delhi's St. Stephens College, Mehta is a member of the governing board of the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. He is also a director of Raffles Holdings Ltd, Singapore, and PCCW Hong Kong Telecom Ltd, Hong Kong.
