Bhargava is new CII Pune chief
Pune: Pradeep Bhargava, Managing Director, Newage AVK SEG India, takes over as Chairman, Confederation of Indian Industry, Pune. The outgoing Chairman is Manu Tandon, Managing Director, Beck India Ltd.
Bhargava, an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad has previously worked with Cummins India, GE Lighting and the Kalyani Group. He has also served the government in his stints with ISRO and BHEL.

New Executive Director at BMTPC
New Delhi: D.B.N Rao has taken over as the Executive Director of the Building Materials and Technology Promotion Council (BMTPC), an independent body under the Ministry of Urban Development and Poverty Alleviation. He moves over to the council from the Sanghi Industries Ltd.BMTPC works on cost-effective housing technologies and disaster management.

Locke is India head for Sapient
New Delhi: Technology consultancy firm Sapient Corporation has announced the appointment of Clayton Locke as the Managing Director of its Indian operations. Locke replaces Preston Bradford, who will lead the company's Public Services business group in North America.

Premnarayen is new NRSC chief
Chennai: Krishan Premnarayen, Partner, Prem Associates Advertising & Marketing, is the new Chairman of the National Readership Studies Council (NRSC), an autonomous wing of the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC).Premnarayen, who has been a member of the NRS Governing Council since the inception of NRSC in 1994 and is also the Chairman of ABC, will hold the post till September 30, this year.
