Spectramind
loses out on Capital One
Mumbai:
Capital One Financial Services, a US-based Fortune
500 company, has discontinued the use of Wipro Spectramind's
telemarketing services, citing slips in the quality of
service rendered by the Indian call centre. Wipro Spectramind
says its internal audit detected employee misconduct in
making sales calls, which it shared with Capital One.
This in turn has led to Capital One deciding not to renew
Spectramind's contract for outbound calls.
Wipro
Spectramind, while confirming that Capital One had discontinued
the use of their company's telemarketing services, have
pointed out that they continue to enjoy a robust relationship
with Capital One and continue to handle their inbound
project.
