The BSE Sensex closed at 5788.08 points, up by 47.23 points (0.82 per cent). On the NSE, the S&P CNX Nifty rose 21.45 points (1.18 per cent) to close at 1841.1.

ICICI Bank and Datamatics replace MCS
Mumbai: According to a BSE notice posted by ICICI Bank, MCS Ltd has withdrawn as registrar to the ICICI Bank issue, and accordingly the bank has appointed Karvy Computershare Private Ltd. in its place.Datamatics Technologies, an unlisted company, will come out with its Rs 100-crore IPO on April 12-19, and it has appointed the Mumbai-based, Intime Registrar in the place of MCS.
