Ajay Mahajan says yes to YES
Mumbai: The new private sector YES Bank has announced the appointment of Ajay Mahajan as the Country Head - Financial Markets, India. Mahajan has resigned from his earlier position as Managing Director and Country Treasurer - Global Markets Group at Bank of America, India, and shall be assuming his new responsibility at YES Bank in May.

GFCL appointments
Hyderabad: Godavari Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd (GFCL) has informed the bourses that the company has appointed P. Varadarajan as Company Secretary. The company also stated that it has co-opted N Santosh Reddy as Additional Director on the board.

Datla CII (AP) is Chairman
Hyderabad: Ramesh Datla, Managing Director of Elico Ltd, and Mahendra Kumar Patodia, Managing Director of GTN Textiles Ltd, have been elected Chairman and Vice-Chairman respectively of Confederation of Indian Industry's (CII) Andhra Pradesh Chapter for 2004-05. While Datla was the Vice-Chairman and Convenor of Industry-Institute Interaction Panel of CII (AP) last year, Patodia was a State Council Member of CII (AP) during the same period.
