Merrill lets loose a TIGER
Mumbai: DSP Merrill Lynch Fund Managers is launching
a diversified equity fund, to be called the DSP Merrill
Lynch India T.I.G.E.R Fund (The Infrastructure Growth
and Economic Reforms Fund). According to the company the
fund will focus on sectors and companies that could benefit
from the ongoing process of economic reform and the continuing
development in infrastructure growth.
The company is also launching variants of the DSP Merrill
Lynch Savings Plus fund. While the current version, now
termed "moderate" allows for 20 per cent equity
participation, the new variants will be "conservative"
with 10 per cent equity and "aggressive" with
30 per cent equity component. The initial offers of the
funds remain open from April 27 to May 20.
