FIIs net purchases of $1.68bn in equities in April
Mumbai: The Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) have purchased heavily in equity market to net massive inflows of Rs 7,638.2 crore ($1.68 billion) for the month of April. In the debt market, FIIs indulged only in offloading activity to record net sales of Rs 918.7 crore during the first month of fiscal 2004-05, according to the data available with Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
