Trend
Micro puts out Network Virus Wall
Mumbai: Trend Micro has introduced the Network
Virus Wall that allows potential threats to be scanned,
detected and blocked in an organisation's network. The
Trend Micro Enterprise protection strategy aims to provide
a solution against such threats, and enables anti-virus
policy enforcement within organisations. The Network Virus
Wall enables network security administrators to control
or limit access by non-compliant devices in a network.
The
appliance deployed at network LAN segments includes network-monitoring
features to help identify sources of infection, providing
enterprises with early warning to potential attacks. The
new prevention appliance enables security administrators
to use threat-specific knowledge to block network viruses
and identify vulnerable or non-compliant networked devices.
This helps to eliminate their ability to be a propagation
