FIIs abstain from debt market
Mumbai: Mutual funds recorded net outflows of Rs 58.08 crore in equities, but netted purchases of Rs 435.31 crore in debt instruments for the trading week ended May 7, according to SEBI.

Foreign institutional investors(FIIs) netted sales of Rs 56.8 crore for equities, while abstaining from the debt market for the trading week ended May 7.

ICICI, Kotak are lead managers for NTPC IPO
New Delhi: National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has said Kotak Mahindra, ICICI Securities and Enam Financials will handle its forthcoming IPO. While Kotak and ICICI will be the lead managers for the offering, Enam will operate as the joint lead manager as well as book runner.

The NTPC IPO, scheduled to hit the market in August, will offer 5 per cent of the company's equity, with a total face value of Rs 400 crore.
