EU offers an end to agri-subsidies
New Delhi: The European Union has for the first time said that it is ready to end subsidies across all agricultural exports, but only if other countries including the United States, Brazil and India promise to cut farm grants and lower import tariffs.

The EU has always maintained that it will cut export subsidies only on products of interest to developing countries, a list which countries like India and Brazil refused to compile.
