New term for Icrisat's DG
Hyderabad: Dr William D. Dar, Director-General of the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (Icrisat), has been given a new five-year term of the office starting January 1. In a press release here, Icrisat said the decision was made at the 50th meeting of the research institute's governing board held at its headquarters in Patancheru in the city outskirts on April 29.
