HSBC restructures at the top
Mumbai: HSBC has announced several top-level executive moves and new assignments in its India operations, and as part of these changes Naina Lal Kidwai has been promoted as the Deputy CEO of the bank. This is in addition to her existing responsibility of Vice-Chairman and MD of investment banking arm, HSBC Securities and Capital Markets India Pvt Ltd. Simon Munter, deputy CEO of HSBC in Turkey, has been appointed as the banks COO in India.

Nancy Dickinson will take over as Regional Head of Northern India. Subir Mehra, former head of NRI services, has now become the head of the commercial banking business and Satish Janardhanan, previously manager of the IT unit, has now become the head of IT at the bank. Punnet Chaddha, former head of custody and clearing, has now become head of the bank's cards business. Ravininder Singh, former head of corporate banking for Western India, has now become the head of corporate banking in India.

New President and CEO for Andale
Bangalore: Andale Inc, a provider of analytics and auction automation software for online sellers, has announced that it has named Linda Hayes as its President and CEO. Hayes succeeds Munjal Shah, co-founder of Andale and its President and CEO, since the company was founded in 1999. Shah will remain on the board of directors, the press release said.
