Sunil Goyal elected to CAPA board
New Delhi: The President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Sunil Goyal, has been elected member of the board of the Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA).
CAPA is a regional body of International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), which represents the national accountancy organisation in the Asia-Pacific region. The confederation represents about 7 lakh accountants from 31 national accountancy organisations in 21 countries across the globe.

New VPs for Arvind Brands
Bangalore: Arvind Brands Ltd has announced the appointment of three new vice-presidents who will be part of its core management team. The new vice-presidents, R. S. Krishnan, Hari Krishna and Ravi Prabhakar, will look after the sales, human resources and operations areas respectively and will be based at the company's headquarters in Bangalore.

Sharma to head PNB's Karnataka operations
Bangalore: P.K. Sharma, Assistant General Manager, Punjab National Bank, has assumed charge as the Regional Head of the bank's Karnataka operations. He will head a network of 41 branches comprising more than two lakh customers. Mr Sharma assumes charge after the bank was restructured under which Karnataka was made into a regional establishment while Kerala became a zonal office.
