Indian needs capitalism with human touch says Narayana Murthy
According to NR Narayana Murthy, founder and chief mentor of software giant Infosys, capitalism can become a driving force in alleviating poverty from India.Speaking in an interview to BBC World Service's programme "The Interview," he said that "compassionate capitalism" is the only solution to poverty in the world's largest democracy.

He said 'evangelists of capitalism' in India should take up a more responsible role, and more should be to push entrepreneurial activity in the country. He said the 7-8 percent growth target set by finance minister P Chidambaram is possible only by boosting a new set of entrepreneurs and ensuring that capitalism is exercised judiciously. He said that humane capitalism was the only hope left for the country, as socialism and communism didn't work.
