Zoom: Times Group's TV channel
Mumbai: The Times Group is due to launch Zoom, a non-fictional premium general entertainment channel in the third quarter of 2004, according to officials of Bennett & Coleman. A spiritual channel will follow Zoom, two months later. Zoom will comprise content outsourced as well as produced in-house. The channel will be pay, but the officials declined from giving details.

LG to launch consumer care products
Madurai: LG Company will launch seven different consumer care products, such as toothpaste, shampoo, detergents, soaps, diapers, hairstyling products and domestic cleaners from June 17.

BSNL outlines broadband expansion plan
Hyderabad: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has unveiled a three-pronged broadband expansion plan. While it will develop broadband network on its own in several parts of the country, it will also go for the build-operate and-transfer and franchise routes in order to have a nationwide network.

BSNL has also launched a service on the company's portal enabling CellOne customers to view and print duplicate bills. While online procurement of duplicate bills is made available across the country, e-payment is open for the customers only in Andhra Pradesh. BSNL has also launched Swaagatham, a call centre (phone no. 1500) to answer queries with regard to basic telephone service.
