Sunil Alagh on Gati Board
Hyderabad: Former CEO and Managing Director of Brittania Industries, Sunil Kumar Alagh, has joined Gati Ltd., the logistics major as the Director on its Board.
Alagh, after a stint of four years with Brittania between 1989-2003, is presently the Chairman of the Mumbai-based SKA Advisors Pvt. Ltd, that deals with business advisory and consultancy services. Gati Ltd., a leader in Express Cargo industry, is a multi-modal organisation reaching 580 districts across the country through all modes of transport to provide logistics solutions, according to a company release.

Arvind Thakur is NIIT Tech CEO
New Delhi: NIIT Ltd has named its whole-time director, Arvind Thakur, as the CEO of its demerged entity, NIIT Technologies Ltd (NTL). Subroto Bhattacharya and Surendra Singh have also been appointed on the board of NIIT Technologies Ltd. The demerger of NIIT's software services business into a new entity, NIIT Technologies Ltd (NTL), came into effect from June 4. Rajendra S. Pawar will be the Chairman of both companies whereas Vijay Thadani will be the CEO of NIIT Ltd.

Mumbai: YES Bank has appointed two senior banking professionals, B. Chandramouli as its Chief Operating Officer and P. Kumar as Head of Business Services. Chandramouli joins Yes Bank from HDFC Bank.
