EU: India will surpass 7 per cent growth
New Delhi: The European Union has said that India would surpass 7 per cent growth this year and the new UPA government would be expected to continue reforms, including reduction in fiscal deficit.

The EU Ambassador Francisco da Camara Gomes said that the focus on poverty and rural development was not an obstacle to growth as it would only increase demand in that sector, which in turn would raise industrial demand.
