Honda revises prices
New Delhi:
Honda Siel Cars India Ltd has revised prices for its new City and Accord models, following the levy of 2 per cent education cess on excise and Customs duties as per the Union Budget. While the prices of all models of the City has been increased by Rs 5,000, the increase for the Accord models is in the range of Rs 14,000 to Rs 17,000.

ICRA ties up with B2K Corp
Bangalore:
Credit rating agency ICRA has signed a pact with business process outsourcing vendor B2K Corp to offer investment research to foreign investment banks, stock exchanges and other financial intermediaries, which need to cope with increased regulations tracking the Sarbanes Oxley Act, top company officials have said. The service, branded Brickwork, will be a joint initiative of the partners wherein ICRA will use B2K's premises, sales channels in the US as well as some of its processes and will offer high-value added research to the clients.

Both the companies will target American, European and Australian markets to start with. Brickwork will also seek business from captive BPO units of several large foreign investment banks that have set up shop in the country to gain the benefits of labour arbitrage. Brickwork plans to offer sector research, industry analysis, fixed income, equity and credit research. It also aims to offer accounts receivables, payables and back-office processing to help clients implement Sarbanes Oxley internal controls.

Plan 290 from Reliance Infocomm
Mumbai:
Reliance Infocomm has announced 'Plan 290' for its fixed wireless services. The company said this is one of the lowest monthly commitment plans in the market. Plan 290 includes 150 free calls worth Rs 180 with free value added services such as a calling line identification presentation (CLIP), call divert, call hold, three-way conferencing facilities and a voicemail facility with message retrieval at local call rates. Call charges for Plan 290 will be Rs 1.20 per pulse.

AirTel consolidates media account under Madison
New Delhi:
Mobile service provider AirTel has appointed Madison Media as its media planning and buying agency for all media except outdoors. According to AirTel, it has consolidated the media buying and planning functions keeping in mind their enhanced presence in five telecom circles and have entrusted Madison with the responsibility.

Dabur sign up the Sehwags
New Delhi:
Dabur India has signed cricketer Virender Sehwag and his wife, Aarti Sehwag, as brand ambassadors for its select products in the oral care, health care and hair care categories.
Dabur said that it is for the first time that they have decided to sign a celebrity brand ambassador for their oral care category, which has a turnover of over Rs 100 crore. The agreement with the Sehwags is initially for a period of two years and may be renewed thereafter. Dabur's oral care portfolio comprises Dabur Red Tooth Powder, Red Tooth Paste, Binaca toothbrushes and Dabur Herbal toothpaste. The company has also signed Aarti Sehwag for its Vatika range of hair care products.
