Indian
companies on Fortune 500 list
New York: Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, Hindustan
Petroleum and Reliance Industries have made it to the
list of 500 top companies worldwide compiled by Fortune
magazine. All four have improved their position over the
Fortune 2003 list.

Google to list on Nasdaq
San Jose: Google Inc. plans to list on the Nasdaq
National Market for its impending initial public stock
offering. The $ 2.7 billion offering for online search
engine Google is expected to give the Mountain View-based
company a market value of at least $ 20 billion. Thirty
brokerage houses have teamed up to facilitate the online
public auction that Google plans to use to set its offering
price.
