Appaji will be new ED at Pharmexcil
Hyderabad: The Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council (Pharmexcil) has announced that Dr P.V. Appaji has assumed charge as its new Executive Director here on Wednesday. Before this, he was the Director of the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA), Government of India. He will serve the Pharmexcil on deputation from NPPA for a period of three years, the council said in a press release.

Umesh Kulshrestha bags young scientist award
Hyderabad: Dr. Umesh C. Kulshrestha, Scientist, Analytical Chemistry Division, Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad, has been awarded the Council of Scientific Industrial Research (CSIR) 2004 Young Scientist Award. The award is in recognition of his research work in the fields of 'Earth, Atmosphere, Ocean & Planetary Sciences,' according to an IICT release.
