Markets: A sell off after three days
Mumbai: The BSE Sensex, closed 7.90 points lower at 5194.63 points on Tuesday. The S&P CNX Nifty, lost 8.45 points (or 0.52 per cent) to close for the day at 1630.60.

TCS initial offer subscribed 3.36 times
Mumbai: Tata Consultancy Services' initial public offer has received bids for 3.36 times the number of shares on offer. Over 5.5 crore shares are on offer. Bids for 18.70 crore shares were registered at 5 p.m. on Tuesday. The IPO closes on Thursday. The maximum number of bids continue to be in the Rs.775-825 range. According to reports, the qualified institutional buyer category has been oversubscribed 5.5 times.
