FIIs
are net purchases in equities for the week
Mumbai: The foreign institutional investors (FIIs)
have registered net purchases of Rs.365 crore ($80.2 million)
in equities while netting outflows of Rs.151.3 crore ($33.3
million) in the debt market for the trading week ended
August 6, according to data available with SEBI. FIIs
were net buyers in equities on all the five trading days.
Mutual
funds (MFs) have recorded net sales in equities at Rs.106.74
crore and net purchases of Rs.209.81 crore in debt instruments.

BSE
revises special margin on 18 scrips
Chennai: The Bombay Stock Exchange has revised
the special margins on 18 scrips from Monday. The rates
of special margins have been revised keeping in view the
closing price of the scrip on the last trading day, the
BSE statement said. The special margins will be imposed
on the basis of member-wise gross purchase or sales position
(client-wise net), according to the BSE statement.
The BSE has imposed a special margin of 25 per cent on
scrips such as Alka Spinners, Artillegence Bio-Innovations,
Banswara Syntex, Cranes Software International, Fast Track
Entertainment, Geojit Securities, Indsil Electrosmelts,
Interworld.com, KG Khosla, K Sera Sera, Kirloskar Brothers,
Rei Agro, Robinson World, SB&T International, Valecha
Engineering, Vimta Labs, Visisth Traders and Zigma Software.
