FIIs record net outflows in equities
Mumbai: The Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) and Mutual Funds (MFs) have netted sales at Rs.159.8 crore ($35.2 million) and Rs.91.39 crore respectively in equities for the trading week ended August 13.

In the debt front, FIIs registered net purchases of Rs.79.9 crore ($17.6 mn) on the last day of the week while remaining away from the market for the first four days. MFs, on the other hand, recorded massive net sales of Rs.429.82 crore in debt.

The BSE Benchmark 30-share Index dropped by 94.07 points, to end the week at 5102.02 as against last weekend's close of 5196.99.
