New chief for Nuclear Fuel Complex
Hyderabad: Raghavapudi Kalidas, assumed charge as Chairman & Chief Executive of the Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC), an establishment under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) on Monday. He succeeds Dr C. Ganguly, who has joined the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Vienna.

Having joined the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), another DAE establishment in Mumbai in 1967, Kalidas came to the NFC in 1972. He is responsible for setting up of the stainless steel tube plant, the first of its kind in the country, at the NFC.
An expert in seamless tube technology, Kalidas was the Deputy Chief Executive.
