BSE to levy special margins on 32 scrips
Mumbai: The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) will impose special margins on 32 stocks from Monday. Some of the scrips, which will attract the special margins, include Alphageo, K G Khosala, JMT Auto, Kolar Info, Peral Orgainces, Valecha Engineering and Zigma Software.

The rates of special margins have been revised keeping in view the closing price of the scrip on last trading day.

Markets: FIIs and MFs are net purchasers
Mumbai: The equities market saw foreign institutional investors (FIIs) and mutual funds (MFs) record net purchases of Rs.320.2 crore and Rs.4.05 crore respectively for trading week ended August 27.

FIIs were net sellers in debt at Rs.37.2 crore while MFs registered net inflows of Rs 267.51 crore during the period under review, according to data available with Securities and Exchange Board of India in Mumbai.

The BSE Benchmark 30-share Index ended the week at 5117.01 as against last weekend's close of 5064.66, a net gain of 52.35 points.

HSBC MF opens investor service centre in Pune
Mumbai: HSBC Asset Management (India) Private Ltd, which manages the HSBC Mutual Fund, has announced the opening of an investor service centre in Pune.

This is to facilitate investors to file applications or request redemptions from the HSBC Mutual Fund from this centre, a press release said.
