Sensex opens higher
Markets: Update as at 11.00 hrs (IST)
Mumbai: At the opening the Sensex was up by 8 points at 5226. It further moved up to an intra-day high of 5247 and was up by 26.98 pts at 5245.44 at 10.55 a.m. The Nifty was at 1642.20 higher by 8.10 points.

Reliance and ITC, both have gained Rs.2 each. HLL was up Re.1 at Rs.112. Zee added over 6 pc in early trades. Hindalco, Maruti, Reliance Energy, Tata Power, ACC, ICICI Bank, Hero Honda, Tata Motors and Wipro were up.
