FIIs net buyers in equities for the week
Mumbai: The Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) recorded net purchases of Rs.269.3 crore in equities for the trading week ended September 10 while mutual funds (MFs) were net sellers at Rs.4.56 crore.

The foreign funds and MFs netted inflows of Rs.25.3 crore and Rs.122.22 crore respectively in debt market for the period under review, according to Securities and Exchange Board of India data.

FIIs stayed away from the debt market for four trading days and registered net inflow of Rs.25.3 crore on September 8.

On the debt front, MFs were net buyers at Rs.173.27 crore on September 6 and Rs.50.22 crore on September 8.

BSE levies special margins on 44 stocks
Mumbai: The Bombay Stock Exchange will impose special margins on 44 stocks from tomorrow. The rates of special margins have been revised keeping in view the closing price of the scrip on last trading day.
Tilaknagar Industries, Kolar Info, K Sera Sera, Kirloskar Bros, Pearl Organics, Geojit Securities and Cranes Software are some of the other scrips, which will attract the special margins.

India Bulls IPO oversubscribed 18.5 times - will come in at Rs.19
Mumbai: India Bulls' initial public offering, which closed on September 10, was oversubscribed 18.5 times, according to a company press release.

Over 1.3 lakh bids were received, said the release. While the institutional portion was subscribed more than 12 times, the retail portion 25 times the number of shares on offer, it said. Almost 94 per cent of the bids were at Rs.19.

The issue was for 2.72 crore equity shares of Rs.2 each. The price band was set at Rs.16-19.
