Designers win awards
Hyderabad: The Indian Institute of Interior Designers
(IIID) has announced awards for 13 designers in six
different categories for the year 2003.
While Shilpa Gore-Shah (Mumbai) has won the award in
the Residential Spaces segment, Pinkish Shah of Mumbai
won the award in the Office Space segment. The other
winners include Sanjay Puri (Mumbai) - Public Spaces;
Quaid Doongerwala/Shilpa Ranade (Mumbai) - Interiors
in Heritage Buildings; and Sandeep Khosla/Amaresh Anand
(Bangalore) - Hospitality Interiors.

Shirodkar is IDSA chief
New Delhi: The Country Director of Herbalife
International India, Manoj Shirodkar, has taken over
as the Chairman of Indian Direct Selling Association
(IDSA), the regulatory and promoting body for the direct
selling industry in the country.
Shirodkar said IDSA would focus on consumer protection
by acting as a watchdog against unscrupulous operators.
