& Shah tie up with Nexia International
Mumbai: The auditing and financial advisory services
firm, Chaturvedi & Shah, has announced a tie-up
with the UK-based Nexia International Group.
Nexia International is a network of accounting and consulting
firms across 95 countries.
Chaturvedi & Shah will be sending their professionals
for training for a period of six to eight months to
cities such as New York or Chicago. It would also look
at setting up a BPO outfit for taxation services.

Veritas
and Network Appliance extend partnership
Coimbatore: Veritas Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd
and Network Appliance India Pvt. Ltd, a provider of
enterprise network storage solutions, have extended
their existing partnership to India to develop and deliver
integrated solutions to customers through joint sales
and marketing, product integration and cooperative technical
support.
The two companies envisage strategic collaboration between
vendors to meet the escalating demand, especially as
users look for simplified IT infrastructure and processes.
Having worked together for integrating all product offerings
that support Windows, UNIX and Linux platforms, the
two companies are now focused on delivering near-term
benefits to existing customers by continuing to drive
down storage and storage management costs.
The Asia-Pacific market was at least 30 per cent of
the storage market worldwide. The Indian market alone
was sizeable at over a $100 million, and was growing
at a rapid pace, the company said.

Cognizant
Tech tops Forbes 200 list second year running
Chennai: The US-based Cognizant Technology Solutions,
provider of information technology (IT) services, was
ranked number one in the annual 200 Best Small Companies,
published by Forbes magazine.
This is the fifth time that Cognizant, which is listed
on the Nasdaq and has a strong offshore presence in
India, has been named in the list, second straight year
at number one and third number one ranking overall,
says a company release.
Forbes evaluated companies based on five-year sales
and earnings per share growth rates. Cognizant's average
return on equity of 23 per cent, annualised sales growth
of 40 per cent, and annualised EPS growth of 43 per
cent placed the company ahead of its industry peers
on Forbes' list.

D-Link's
new channel branding initiative
Hyderabad: D-Link India Ltd, a leading networking
and communications major, has launched 'Get into the
Flow' programme, a new channel branding initiative,
to strengthen its ties with channel partners.
D-Link India, says the initiative is aimed at recognising
the loyalty and support of its channel partners. The
company would acknowledge about 75 `D-Link Prestige
Partners' and 400 `D-Link Value Partners' in the country,
according to a company press release.

kick starts the thunder
Hyderabad: Telugu film actor Chiranjeevi, launched`Kick
Start the Thunder', a Coca-Cola campaign to mark the
25th anniversary of Thums Up and the actor's movie career.
`Kick Start the Thunder' is yet another promotional
campaign by the Rs.250-crore brand in Andhra Pradesh.
Under this scheme, it would give away a Yamaha Enticer
bike to one consumer in each of the districts in the
State every 15 days. The scheme will run for 45 days,
the company has said in a press release.
