New Delhi: Four-wheeler tyre manufacturer JK Tyre is planning to foray into the two and three-wheeler tyre markets.

According to the company, they are currently examining the possibility of entering the new segment, where the growth has been great. The company seeks to have a presence in all segments of the market.

Bosch eyes forty per cent of power tool market
New Delhi: Bosch Power Tools, a division of the 36.4 billion euro Germany-based Robert Bosch GmbH, is planning to capture 40 per cent share of the Rs300-crore power tools market in India by 2006 on the back of localisation of manufacturing.

To achieve the target, Bosch has outlined localisation of manufacturing and entry into the DIY (do-it-yourself) market as its business strategy to expand its footprint in the country.

RINL targets Rs.100 crore rise in profit per annum
Hyderabad: The public sector Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd, which operates the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, expects a Rs100 crore jump in its net profit to Rs1,647 crore in 2004-05, the company has said.

The company says that it has a strategic vision of increasing its profitability by Rs100 crore every year, and hopes to post a net profit of Rs1,747 crore for the current fiscal.

The company has also said that its consultants, M N Dastur & Company, have submitted a preliminary report on RINL's proposal to expand its steel-making capacity. The report would be examined by the company before it decides on the next course of action.
