India initiates anti-dumping probe against Taipei
New Delhi: India has initiated anti-dumping investigations against imports of sodium cyanide from Chinese Taipei.

Acting on a petition by Cyanides and Chemicals Company, the Directorate General of Anti-dumping and Allied Duties initiated investigations on the basis of conclusion that "there was sufficient prime facie evidence against dumping of sodium cyanide from Chinese Taipei."

Sodium cyanide is mainly used by industries such as dye intermediates, electroplating chemicals and for manufacture of heat treatment salts.
