Dinesh Kumar is the new EPCH vice-chairman
New Delhi:
Dinesh Kumar managing director of Orient Arts and Crafts, has been elected as the new vice-chairman of the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH).

Kumar has been associated with handicraft exports for several years and has earlier served as EPCH's President of the Handicrafts and Gifts Fair during 2002.

Tibrewal barred by SEBI from market for two years
Kolkata: Manoj Kumar Tibrewal has been barred from the Calcutta Stock Exchange for two years and joins the long list of CSE members who have been hauled up by SEBI for alleged manipulation in a DSQ group stock.

Tibrewal's firm has been barred from dealing in securities for two years.

The regulator, in an order referring to SEBI (Prohibition of Fraudulent and Unfair Trade Practices Relating to the Securities Market) Regulations, 1995, has focused on the sharp spurt recorded by the scrip during January-March, 2000, although it was thinly traded. The average daily volume was only about 500 shares. This led to the allegation of price manipulation and creation of an artificial market in the counter.
