Onkar Kanwar is next FICCI President
New Delhi: Onkar S. Kanwar is the President-elect of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). He will be assuming office as FICCI President at the conclusion of the chamber's 77th annual session to be held next month.

Kanwar will be succeeding Y.K, Modi, who will demit office as FICCI Chief at the annual session. Kanwar is the Chairman & Managing Director of Apollo Tyres Ltd.

Kanwar is closely associated with leading national and international industry chambers and other business organizations and is the immediate past President of the International Chamber of Commerce - India (ICCI). He is also on the boards of the Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India and the Kerala State Industrial Corporation. Earlier, he was also the Chairman of the Automotive Tyre Manufacturers' Association (ATMA).

Sharma, MD of Bank of Rajasthan
Mumbai: B. Mallikarjun Sharma has taken over as the new Managing Director of Bank of Rajasthan Ltd.

Prior to this assignment, Sharma was the General Manager-in-charge of Credit and International Banking at the head office of Punjab National Bank, New Delhi, said a press release.
