O.P. Garg is new FIEO President
New Delhi: The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) has a new president in O.P. Garg, who is currently the Chairman and Managing Director of Overseas Carpets Ltd, New Delhi. A statement issued here by the FIEO also said that Garg has been elected for a period of two years.

G.K. Gupta, Managing Director of Vijai Silk House, Mumbai, has been elected as the Vice-President or a term of two years.

Pfizer MD is `CFO of the Year'
Mumbai: Pfizer's Executive Director, Kewal Handa, has been given the India CFO Award 2004 by the Indian Management Association (IMA).

The IMA India CFO Awards are for financial distinction and Handa has been instrumental in taking Pfizer Ltd through two mergers - with Parke-Davis and Pharmacia - a company note said.

He also heads the pricing committee of the Organisation of Pharmaceutical Producers of India, a forum for multinational drug firms.
